"Following up on Media Matters' in-depth study
showing that Republican and conservative
guests outnumbered Democratic and
progressive guests on ABC's This Week, CBS'
Face the Nation, and NBC's Meet the Press over
a nine-year period, an examination of the guest
lists for those programs during the first three
months of 2006 showed that Republican and
conservative dominance continued unabated".
IT'S THE TIME OF THE SEASON

MLB OPENS 2006 SEASON WITH FULL LINE-UP OF GAMES

Another Major League Baseball season starts this week and for baseball fans like me it marks the beginning of a whole new
year. Yes, January 1st is the beginning of the year for most people, maybe July 1st for some businesses, but for die hard
baseball fan 'opening day' marks the real start of our year. Opening day, even opening week is the fresh start all baseball fans
look forward to.
The Yankees don't play here in New York until April 11th (still waiting for my tickets, thank you). They open up the season out
West meaning that games will start after 10pm. What a drag. But next week I will go to two games at Yankee stadium and
needless to say I am excited. I have waiting a very long time to be able to see them at the stadium - Now it is just a week or so
away.
As the season starts a lot of people are upset about the steroids issue. I am too. I think Barry Bond's records, along with Mark
McGurie's and Sammy Sosa's, should have an asterisk at least and maybe get taken out of the books all together. But having
said that I am ready to out it all behind me. There is better testing this year so baseball will be cleaner that it has been for quite
a while. The Yankees look strong again and I will be here to get them through the 162 regular season games and hopefully
the playoff and world series. So no matter what the final results are this season, it will be an exciting time for me. I'll keep you
all posted.
