When I heard last week that Rolling Stone Keith Richard fell out of a coconut tree I could not resist laughing.  I guess
just about anybody falling out of a coconut tree would be funny.  

But it turns out that brain surgery was necessary and his recovery continues. I am a pretty big Stones fan especially
after seeing them in 1984 on the 'Tattoo You' tour.  I saw them in Orlando, Florida where Van Halen opened up for
them, and in Germany.  They put on quite a spectacular show and it was a lot of fun to be there.  Their music has
always been solid and their old hits have stood the test of time.

Mick Jagger is, of course the most famous Rolling Stone, but Keith Richards deserves some credit - just for surviving
this long.  He was addicted to any assortment of narcotics and came close to death many times in the 1960's and
70's.  By the time he was 35 he looked 75 years old.  Today he is in a class to himself  when it comes to looking
haggard.  I am sure the fall from that coconut tree didn't help matters.
