| This is the worse I've seen. President Bush attacks John Kerry after INTENTIONALLY MISINTERPRETING his words. ---------------------------- The Republicans have been holding power for years by setting up and knocking down straw men. They created a left wing monster that doesn't exist and then spent the last generation convincing their followers that they are defending the country against these fictitious enemies. Making and knocking over straw men is standard procedure for Republicans. But the latest barrage of coordinated right wing attacks against John Kerry is way beyond the pale. More than criticising just Kerry, the GOP is using this ma nufactured outrage to convince U.S. Soldiers that Democrats do not support them or their work. What dangerous nonsense. By accusing all Democrats of hating people in the military, they want to turn the troops, as well as the country, viciously against Democrats, liberals or whatever other condescending term they can come up with. John Kerry never maligned the military and they know it. But they do not hesitate to lie about it - hurting troop morale and sowing discontent among the young men and women in harms way for a cause they know to be false! Just think about how sinister that is. This divisive strategy may help the GOP in next week's elections but it's sure to destroy this country. Make no mistake. Unless stopped, the GOP will continue to work this wedge for years -scheming to build resentment within the troops and within the country. They will accuse "us" of things we do not do in an attempt to get votes..These partisans are so shameless that no part of our nation, not even the military, will escape the slime of the Republican Revolution. A revolution built on manufactured hatred based on intentional misinformation designed to turn citizens against each other. The GOP's plan all along has been to divide and conquer. Ironically, even if those who end up on the right side of this division will still lose. Those Red voters claiming patriotism should remember that: United We Stand, Divided We Fall. Vote the Republicans out now, before it's too late. Seriously! |
